What You Do
Drivers pay to park near stations, city centres, stadiums, hospitals and airports. If your driveway or allocated space sits empty during the day, at weekends or while you’re away, you can list it and let drivers book it.
What It Pays
- It’s free to sign up and list your space on JustPark.
- JustPark charges space owners 3% of each booking to cover payment processing: on a £10 booking you’d receive £9.70. Drivers pay a separate fee on top of your price.
- Demand depends heavily on location, so look at prices for nearby spaces before you set yours.
How to Start
- Check you’re allowed to rent out the space: look at your lease, deeds or tenancy agreement and any local parking rules.
- List it with clear photos, the exact location and access instructions.
- Set your prices and the times it’s available.
- Keep the space clear and easy to find for drivers who book.
Good to Know
- Income from land or property can be covered by the UK’s £1,000 property allowance: at or below £1,000 a year, you don’t need to tell HMRC.
- Above £1,000 you need to contact HMRC, and above £2,500 you need to register for Self Assessment.
